David Gilmour Performs At Final Earls Court Concert

David Gilmour made a surprise appearance Saturday, December 13th at the Bombay Bicycle Club show at Earls Court in London. Gilmour played lap steel guitar on that band’s “Rinse Me Down”, and then brought the house down with the Pink Floyd classic “Wish You Were Here”.

Earls Court has been the venue for so many epic Pink Floyd performances. They performed Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety at the London venue in 1973. Earls Court was one of the few venues to host “The Wall” 1980’s concerts. The 1995 Pulse tour concert film was recorded entirely at Earls Court.
